The Gatsby premiere in NYC

Last week saw the US premiere of Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of the classic novel. There's been a lot of buzz and anticipation not for just the movie but to see what Leo, Tobey and co look like in their 1920s attire. I'm due to see it with the missus who's equally excited next weekend so I will let you know what I think in due course.

Anyway getting back to the red carpet Tobey killed it again in Saint Laurent. Simple but so effective. Monsieur Slimanne's Saint Laurent cut is perfect for Maguire. My only slight moan is the tie could've been tied with a firmer knot but otherwise top marks. Best dressed from the night was Baz himself in a beautiful Brooks Brothers made to measure midnight blue tux. He capped it off with a pair of antique Tiffany & Co cuff links and a slim squared watch with brown leather strap. Can't find any visuals but saw him flash these accessories on E's coverage from the red carpet. Take my word for it; pure class!
